.

Today, life is fast and heavily relies on gadgets, their purpose is to make life easier for most people. Besides from being useful, there are some gadgets that are too expensive and hard to justify their uses.

We have here 10 of the most expensive gadgets, not too practical to buy and only for the rich and elites.

10. Ecosse Titanium Series FE Ti XX Motorcycle: $300,000.

Dodge Tomahawk could be the most expensive motorcycle, but technically it has four wheels. This baby has two, the Ecosse Titanium Series FE Ti XX Motorcycle is considered by many as the most expensive mortorcycle today. It has a price tag of $300, 000 and a high-end titanium chassis with carbon fiber wheels. This motorcycle also delivers 210-foot pounds of pure torque.

9. Harry Winston Opus 12 Watch: $260,000

This watch has no typical minute and hour hands. It has an elegant blue metal arms that looks like sharp weapons.

This watch can work for about 45 hours with 607 parts, 80 jewels and 3 barrels. It even renders animation of the 12 hour hands for each hour change.  It also animates the minute hands for every five minutes. The watch has a diameter of 46mm with a white gold case and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The Harry Winston Opus 12 wristwatch cast a price tag of $260,000

8. Megatrend MKIII Speakers: $80,000

This seven feet tall and three feet wide speakers is probably the most expensive speakers ever. Transmission Audio's Megatrend MKIII will take its name as the real wall of speakers at the price of $80, 000.

7. MWE Emperor 200 PC WorkStation: $45,000

If you want a complete- comfortable work experience, then the MWE Emperor 200 will definitely make working easier with this sophisticated workstation featuring three monitors, a touch screen interface, air filtration system, an electric powered leather seat and light therapy illumination.

This workstation can even add peripherals like iPhone docks. But it takes six months to contruct a unit.

6. S-Works + McLaren Venge Bicycle: $18,000

As a cheap person, I never though there would be a bicycle that will worth $18,000! With the rise in popularity of biking, finding a cheap bicycle could be hard, unless you bought it second hand.
The  S-Works + McLaren Venge Bicycle uses its technological advantage to lessen the stiffness of an already lightweight carbon-fiber rocket. But, with a price of $18, 000 I think it would be tough to sell, I rather pedal harder that get one of these.

5. Vertu Constellation Smartphone: $13,800

-->

And I though iPhone was expensive. The Vertu Constellation Smartphone runs on a symbian operating system and a Swype keyboard. It's other features is more of the same just like any other smart phones.

It also has a red gold exterioir with 24/7 Concierge Live application. This also helps you secure exclusive access to clubs, arrange travel trips, order expensive wine and even get in touch with a security specialist.

4. The Kohler Numi Toilet System: $6,400

A toilet reflects the owner, and if you have a Kohler Numi Toilet System then consider yourself one of the elites. This toilet usually sells at $6,400, and it is too expensive to pee on this.

This toilet system has a touchscreen interface and a smart bidet for easier cleaning. The seat is also heated and there is a vent underneath that blows warm air for additional comfort.

3. Stax SR-009 Earspeakers: $5,250

The Stax SR-009 can handle a frequency response between 5 to 42,000 Hertz and will make your ear pop with a price of $5,250. It beats "beats by dre" when it comes to expensive headphones.

If you want to power this unit further, you need the amplifier that worth $2,000. Ouch! I could find one of these for just 200 pesos.

2. Victorinox 1TB Swiss Army Knife: $3,000

I love this Swiss knife but hated the price. Since I got my first Swiss knife(thanks to the freebies from readers digest) I have been collecting ever since. And this baby will be a great addition to my collection.

The Victorinox 1TB Swiss Army Knife has a thumb drive in it. And it stores a terabyte of data.

For practical purposes, the USB 2.0 thumb drive can be detached from the Swiss Knife so that there won’t be a dangling hazard each time you have to transfer files. But for a thumb drive with a few practical knives and features, are you really willing to shell out $3,000?

1. iPhone 4 Docking Station Made of Crystal: $500

Would you pay $500 for an iPhone docking station? When its price is almost the same as the iPhone 4 itself.
